Hollow Log Australian Cattle Dog was started in 1991 when I purchased my first ACD from Jamie Hansen, CH Hobkirk Last Tango.
Tango was a typical ACD and I wasn't quite ready for her energy or attitude but with time I learned the wicked ways of those
female ACDs. Since then I've bred Conformation Champions, Group Placers, AOM Winners, Obedience,Rally, and Agility titled
ACD's. When we breed we concentrate on structure, movement, and temperament. We breed on a limited basis, only once or twice
a year, some years not at all. Rick and I both work in the film industry and work typically takes us away from home for extended
periods of time making breeding difficult.
I am an active member of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America
I am the founder and President of the Carolina Australian Cattle Dog Club
I am a founding member, past President and Board Member of the Greater Monroe Kennel Club in Monroe, North Carolina
I have served these clubs as Match Secretaries, Assistant Show Chair, Membership Secretary, Subscription Secretary, Show
Site Chair, Obedience Instructor, Conformation Instructor, Health Testing organizer on both the National and Regional level.
I have recently added judging to my resume and look forward to becoming an AKC Licensed Judge.
